An Indian couple from Chhattisgarh has named their newborn child twins Corona and Covid after the alarming pandemic that is crushing the world.
Vinay and Preeti Verma transformed into the gatekeepers of a youngster and a child at the Ambedkar Memorial Hospital during a lockdown in which no salvage vehicle was available to take the confident mother to the crisis center. She showed up at the workplace on her better half's cruiser.
Preeti told the press that she picked the names to "make the occasion essential" and "encourage the apprehension and fear related with these words".
"Me and my loved one took the prompt course of action to name our youngster Covid, and our daughter Corona," she said.
The reports on the sporadic names has shocked the web, with reactions running from attentiveness to senselessness.
