RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the Pakistan Army is aware of the difficulties being looked by the individuals of Gilgit-Baltistan.
In a tweet on Tuesday, DG ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar cited the COAS, as saying: "Pakistan Army is aware of the difficulties confronting the individuals of Gilgit-Baltistan. We are working intimately with the Gilgit-Baltistan government and the common organization to offer all conceivable help while extra assets are being orchestrated on war balance in counsel with the government. We will never leave the individuals of Gilgit-Baltistan alone in these difficult occasions. Pakistanis will battle against COVID-19 as one.
On March 23, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa had reaffirmed the determination and all difficulties, including the Covid-19 pandemic.
In his message on Pakistan Day, the COAS stated: "Pakistan Resolution Day symbolizes battle for Pakistan. While paying shining tribute to our precursors, we reaffirm our determination and promise to crush all difficulties, incorporating Covid-19 pandemic with Faith, Unity and Self Discipline."
Prior on Sunday evening, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa led an extraordinary Corps Commanders' Conference at GHQ to examine a solitary point motivation with respect to COVID-19 pandemic.
